Certifications
  • Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly, Paris-Le Bourget airports and the Issy-les-Moulineaux heliport are ISO 14001 certified
  • Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly were awarded Level 3 Airport Carbon Accreditation. Paris-Le Bourget obtained a level 2 on its first rating
  • Management systems for airport safety at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly are certified by the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC)
  • Paris-Charles de Gaulle received the Airport-CDM status (Collaborative Decision Making) from Eurocontrol
  • Buildings constructed since 2008 have high environmental quality status (HEQ)
Economic and Social Development
Business from the three French airports generated:
  • Almost 30 billion euros in value added which is almost 6% of the regional GDP
  • Over 340,000 jobs (which are directly or indirectly related, induced or catalytic),
    that is more than 8% of salaried jobs in the Paris region
  • Almost 1,000 companies are based at the three Paris airports employing over 114,000 staff:
    87,000 at Paris-Charles de Gaulle are local residents
  • The Aéroports de Paris Foundation spent 617,000 euros on its solidarity actions in 2013
